Shakedown cruise, 2-27 & 3-7

Bob Morgan and I christened the new sled on 2/27.

We needed to run a lot and fish a bit. But in the excitement, I left all the rods in the truck!

Yes, I got a look but he didn't call me any names.

We got to learn the iPilot and the FF plus burn some gas. The anchor feature on the trolling motor is simply outstanding!!

Today, Bill O'Connor and I went out to fish a lot and run the boat a bit.

Well, we didn't get a bite and the wind was 20+ at times but the boat did well. Nice and stable!

I like my new office view....

Back at it again on Thursday. Hopefully, the wind will cooperate but not sure at this point.

Time to go fishin' again!

Really nice ride! I just got the copilot for my trolling motor. Not as fancy as the ipilot, but I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Nice office sled.. Tohatsu is a great choice for power. Very dependable. They make several Mercury engines also. The anchor feature of the remote is really cool. Lot of buttons you will need to learn on that remote. Beware of the rabbit button..it will throw you from the boat if accidentally hit.

A few buttons I still need to learn.
