Cabelas Gainesville Grand Opening March 9

Nice to have a mega fishing store closer than Arundel Mills or Richmond.

Or not! I have to get rid of a lot of stuff before I make a visit......

BTW, just a few miles south on 29 lies a very good roadside BBQ joint...Smokin' Billy's BBQ. Great brisket among other things.

Wait....you mean that BBQ trailer on the right at the place that sells gazebos and such?  If it is that one....it used to be owned by someone else a few years back.  Love the smell as I drive by.  Sorry....food discussion and thoughts took over!
ps. I'll be there for the opening!  First time I'll be able to buy ammo that's in stock!!!!

Call Dave (my son) at Bullseye Guns in Leesburg. He will get you wherever you need!

I think it used to be Jammin' Joe's BBQ.

Haven't been on here in a while but just randomly connected with Andrew Coiner at the grand opening where he is talkin to folks about fish brain! Didn't know who he was until we started talking and turns out he was a volunteer at the BRHS tournament 5-6yrs ago in which I was a participant! Anyways, small world and great community! Cabellas about to open doors! God bless

I stopped by today on the way back form down south. Busy but not crazy. They did not have the 1 thing I needed but I picked up a few things. They are sold out of Whopper Ploppers except for the huge ones.

Re: Cabelas Gainesville Grand Opening March 9

Gotta say, I was not terribly impressed with the new Cabelas. I've been to the ones in Wheeling, WV, and Rogers, MN, and they are twice the size of this one. Really the selection wasn't any better than Gander Mtn. They didn't even have Lucky Craft lures.
