4/22 Out of Solomons
Had a great day on Friday with some good friends looking for Rockfish. We hit our limit late in the day with the best one last. They didn't weigh it but the mate said it would have weighed in somewhere around 50lbs. The surprise for the day was actually the nearby whale! I wasn't quick enough to get it on film but I later saw a video of it on Fox5 of the whale breaching. Posted a link here.

We went out on the Double D. It has a covered cabin which turned out to be a pretty good idea since we got caught in a thunderstorm for about 30 min. There's several identical boats from the same marina. I booked off of fishsolomons.com
