3-8-16, Cedar

3 BGs and a 10" crappie on the fly in 40 minutes of fishing. Great to start getting some numbers. big_smile

And....if the two folk that were out there kayaking see this....cold water can kill you in an instant!!  mad  You MUST wear your life jackets this time a year. And (double and)....you don't yak right where I am fishing. Literally came over to where my strike indicator was and ran right over it.

Rant over.

What kept going over in my mind was if one of them went into the drink. If close by, I could probably assist and live to tell about it. If out in the deep, I would have called 911 and watched one of them perish. No way you can survive for long in < than 50 degree water. Stupid is what it was.

Ok, rant over for real......

Re: 3-8-16, Cedar

I was at Cedar during lunch. Caught nothing sad but the weather was glorious and I hadn't cast a line in who knows how long!!!! First time out this year. Usually there isn't a break in my fishing, but life has been so busy lately...

Together we'll fight the long defeat.
