The Spawn is On

Spent two hours at Tippecanoe this afternoon . . . the lake appears to be very healthy.  Saw lots of baitfish, bluegill and some nice size bass.  Saw a couple of bass already sitting on their beds.  Unfortunately, their thoughts were on other things than my lures . . . should be good in a couple of weeks.

Re: The Spawn is On

I agree - and to be clear I did not bother those sitting on beds.  I don't believe in disrupting.  Only found one that was willing to bite in deeper water, but could not get it on the hook.

The good news is that I think Tippacanoe has rebounded since the fish kill from a few years back.  There were plenty of fish just swimming by . . . with a lusty look in their eye!
