Today was not so good fishing wise as the crappie once again after a 6 degree water temp drop moved back out into deeper water. Still thinking that the spawn was on from last week was my mistake. Worked shallow coves and normal spawn areas only to get 9 in the boat. Only two where dressed for the dance but no dance partners at those locations. Wind was NNW and light with chill in it.
Need two days of 70 plus to put them back on the beds.
Still it was fun and relaxing with a great crew.

Nor so good fishing today is an understatement....for bass guys, crappie guys, striper guys. I hope the shad were biting at Fletchers......

Kind of. I caught 5 or 6 in 4.5 hours of fishing. Caught my first on a small white crankbait in a place I wouldn't have expected. Didn't catch the rest until I worked my way back down the river and then tried a silver/green 1/4oz kastmaster. Lots of surface activity from the shad though.
The water was noticeably higher than past times I've been there, even at low tide.
