Here it is! May be the biggest snowstorm we've had in 20 years? Prediction deadline is 11pm on Wednesday night. As usual, IAD is the official reporting station. You can post now and adjust your predictions up until 11 pm on Wed. I expect lots of photos on this one!
So I will get it started......26.5"

Holy smokes...what a hype!!
I think the snow is starting before 11 pm on Wednesday.....that will cut out Jeffie's and BBM's Zero predictions.
Have you seen a list of the biggest accumulation totals? I recall a weekend (within this decade) that we got almost 30" but I think it was a Fri/Sun deal.

I have seen "historic proportions" forecast already!!!!
What I meant to write was a history of accumulation from past storms...top 5?

Ahhh this is going to be an interesting one. The predictions vary so much and we are still 36 hours away. Those who predict tomorrow will have a better chance but where is the fun in that???
I'm calling it right now. And looking to extend my streak to 2 wins in a row!
5.3 inches

There's a picture somewhere at home of me on top of my garage roof in that storm shoveling off about 3'. I'll see if I can find it when I get home this evening.

I didn't think the DC record seemed correct. The IAD record is more like what I had in centreville. Still driveable though! lol

Last report I saw was it started snowing Wed @ 1900 and stopped Friday morning around 900 with a couple breaks.
Should be a good one.

For now I'm saying 10" at Dulles. I expect to see flakes in the area around 4pm.

12" At dulles/leesburg. I would go higher except I don't think this thing will stick around long enough to do that kind of damage.
