Jan. 29 - Beau Beasley, an authority on fly fishing in the middle Atlantic region and author of multiple books and many articles, returns to speak about river bottom laws, a topic on which he has conducted extensive research and writing. Beau is a long-time friend of the club and is always an engaging and informative speaker. We look forward to his return to kick off the year.
Feb. 26- Dusty Wissmath, he is a well-known guide, author, fishing/casting teacher, fly designer... definitely the kind of guy you'll want to see speak.
Mar. 26- Joe Bruce is seasoned angler with decades of experience and author of a book on Snakehead fishing. Joe will discuss targeting these interesting fish.
Apr. 30- Mark Kovach is a widely known guide, fly fishing instructor, author and a wonderful speaker. Mark's guide service focuses on the upper Potomac and both conventional and fly fishing. Mark will discuss Smallmouth fishing in moving water.
May 28- Jared Harker of Confluence Outfitters will discuss fishing the Holston and Roanoake Rivers.
Jun. 25- **6pm – 9pm** - Riverbend Regional Park- Annual picnic and exhibit of boats used for river smallmouth fishing. Note earlier time to take advantage of daylight and catch the dinner hour.
Jul. 30- Bruce Ingram; author, sportsman, photographer, and conservationist Bruce Ingram. Bruce will share his wealth of knowledge about fishing for smallmouth bass on the James, New, Shenandoah, and other of our favorite Virginia rivers.
