Below is the 2014 Calendar of events for the NoVA CCA:

•              February 19th-  Captain Dennis Fleming – Owner of Fishamajig Guide Service “Fishing the Lower Potomac"- Captain Dennis Fleming has been fishing the Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River since 1972.  He is a Licensed fishing Guide – offering a wide array of angling experiences throughout the calendar year – ranging from Crappie, Blue Catfish, Striped bass, and even an ECO trip.  Dennis is currently one of the four Maryland Commissioners of the Potomac River Fisheries Commission.  He is uniquely qualified to discuss a variety of topics regarding the Potomac River – we look forward to having him as our first guest speaker of 2014!

•              March 15th – 14th Annual Save-a-Fish Auction and Banquet, Fairfax, VA – a separate announcement will be sent out this week with details.

•              May 14th – Captain Walleye Pete – Fishing Eastern Shore Islands – his very own “Island Hopping” presentation

•              June 11th – Captain Tom Hughes – Tom’s presentation will be ‘Fly & Light Tackle Locations and Techniques used to Catch Striped Bass’.

•              August 10th – “Save a Kid – Catch a Fish trip” – Deale, MD

•              September 10th – Tony Friedrich, CCA MD Executive Director – Fishing for Coastal Redfish on Delmarva Peninsula & “My Limit is One” program.

•              October 8th – Captain Mike Starrett – Potomac River Blue Catfish and other assorted topics of the Potomac River area.

•              November 12th – John Page Williams, Chief Scientist, Chesapeake Bay Foundation – Bay report and other fishing related topics.
