activity is on the rise
pitching sweet beavers resulted in some good bites
best customer was in the 4 to 5# range, another about 2.75, then a handful just short of 2#
caught a lot of nice looking smaller bass, so i feel like there is a solid core of freshman on the way up.
all fish were relating to structure and cover, and then only in specific circumstances
what i wouldnt give for a good sonar unit...( aside from ponying up the dollars for1 ) ---or maybe i could bribe curly into revealing a few of his choice locations
i still feel as if the queen of the lake remains unseen
i would like to see a big rain event_like several inches, to blow out the slime and get them up on the edges with their feed bags on.
i bought one of the gaudy skeet reese rods at walmart. for 95.oo i have to put it on par with a g loomis i have at twice that price. i think it also equals the st croix avid i broke in half on a snag. --three and a half years of good, constant service from that rod_but the guides were working loose where the wrap was cracking from the sun.
i got a revo also. blows the curado i have away. just a nice, smooth, precise piece of equipment.
