Fished with Roney K from about 10am to 1:30pm on the Occoquan yesterday. Last part of the falling tide. Fish were only active for about an hour, but we still had a lot of fun and a beautiful day to be on the water. Creature baits were working in about 3-5 feet of water near boat docks. First two pictures are of Roney's best two fish...a 3# 2 oz. and a 3# 11 oz. fish. He also caught some slab crappies on the same baits. Last picture was of my ONLY fish (guess I was admiring the scenery too much)...a 1 lb. 11 oz. largemouth with a lot of black spots. We also saw about 7-8 shoreline fisherman near the tanks by the footbridge reeling in an occasional hickory shad.
