The speaker at the March meeting on Thursday, March 22nd, will be Tony Choe, the reigning Paralyzed Veterans Angler of the Year. Tony is a paralyzed marine veteran who tows, launches and operates his own boat on waters all over the country, from a wheelchair. After finishing second on the national tour in 2010, he capped that with a first place finish in 2011 and is currently in 7th place nationally for 2012.
Tony has been a member of New Horizon Bass Anglers for a good number of years and always manages to finish near the top of any tournament he fishes. He is particularly knowledgable about the Potomac River, although most of the waters on the PVA Tour are lakes.
Tony is excited about the opportunity to "give back" and help young anglers learn more about catching fish.
Bring along your friends and other interested students. His presentation will be well worth the time invested.
