110 lb Wahoo!!

My Brother-in-Law (Roy) was fishing in the Bahamas this weekend and caught a 100+ lb Wahoo!!  Following is his email and pic:

"We caught this 100# Wahoo this weekend in the Bahamas on a lure that I custom painted to make it more appealing. Looks like it worked. The lure caught 75% of the Wahoo we caught this weekend. I would consider a career change but I want to keep this lure a secret. The fish actually weighed 95#’s nine hours after we caught it. I’m sure it lost 5-10% body weight from the time it was caught. It wouldn’t fit in the fish box. I need a bigger boat."

He said he couldn't fit it in the fishbox on his boat (50ft Post in the background of the pic - I love that boat!!).  He said they caught the fish at 9:30am and couldn't weigh it until 7pm that evening because they only had a scale that went up to 80 lbs.  The record for the Bahamas is 104 lbs.  I am betting this was close or may have beat it.
