We have successfully moved down to Richmond and it took about a week, but I was able to hit some park ponds that receive a ton of pressure. Nonetheless, I was able to land a couple of small bass and a bream that had a mouth larger than a bluegill, but not as thin as a crappie. Any ideas what it could have been. It essentially looked like a hybrid of the two. Perhaps a white crappie?
I intend to investigate more as things settle down. Hope all are well!

Could be warmouth. Most of the rock bass I catch are whitish and have broken up lines, not dissimilar from a crappie. Bluegill body with smallmouth mouth. Do a Google image search and see.
