Got in the water about 600am. The first bite was what looked to be a 3lb LMB, it was at most 10ft away when it bit, but the line broke not long after hooking up. Must've been something wrong with the line. I headed up the creek and once there was some deeper, open water I caught a white perch. Way up the creek I found a nice area with some good holes. Got something that looked like a cross between a bluegill and redbreast. Another cast to the same spot got a small yellow perch. And then another cast to the same spot got a thick 15" 2lb LMB. Then just up from this spot I hooked up with another LMB. I thought I had the same fish again until I saw that this one had a black inner upper lip. Fished around this area for a while a got a bunch of smaller bass, redbreasts and another YP. Heading back I took a different route and did see one snakehead that slipped under a small grass patch to hide. Later I saw another one that was in the 4-5lb range.
Floating back in the current in the deeper area I started tossing a senko. They weren't fond of the green pumpkin one so I tried black. That worked. I was able to catch two more in the 15-16" range and one more got off because I was taking my time with it and it buried itself in the weeds.

Nice.....looks like a good day and a possible armada float!

Yeah, saw several other kayaks out there. Some spots aren't so accessible by bass boats and larger.

Looks like you had a nice multi-species day. Only thing missing was a snakehead . That itsy bitsy minnow is a very versatile lure. I bet a snakehead would hit it because it resembles a killifish somewhat
