Occoquan 6/4

Decided to try it again.  But this time the water flow was even less.  The rapids were no more, but that made for some nice pools.  I scored first with a 17" LMB on a zara spook.  It had  the black splotches.

After that I missed something at least as big on a small crankbait.  Then I started heading back downstream and switched to a black spinnerbait.  Second cast of that got this 14-15" LMB.

Later something was molesting my senko along the shoreline but not getting hooked up. Tossed the tiny crankbait to find out what.

All the while I was soaking a white perch.  Eventually this 5lb cat found it tasty.
