Windy but productive day at A Lake

Caught 8 total in 5 hours on A lake today got one on very first cast around 3lbs these 2 were biggest of the day was tough all day in the YAK got blown all over lake had to use the anchor most of the day.

Never seen this many black spots on a bass any idea what these are from?

Odenkirk calls them the Potomac strain of bass markings.

My brother caught that same bass a few years ago remember that spots all over him
