No second console for your co-angler?!

55# TM might have trouble with a boat that size in the wind.  That's a nitpick though, otherwise seems like a great boat.

Yep.  Those "walleye" type boats ride higher.   Who knows, it may be fine.  And if not, it's a great excuse to replace it w/ a MK model that has i-pilot!

Very nice looking boat!

My only thought is that I have not been happy with Merc.  Would like to see a 115 Yamaha four stroke on the back.  Maybe even a jet drive.

I can't think of any. I always wondered if a v-hull might cut through chop at high speed better than something like Carl's flat bottom.

Doug....the jet would be tough only because of the deep V. I too worry about the Merc but lots of the bass guys have them plus it's under warranty. Not sure it's enough to chase me away. Send me an email with more if you want.

So far, I haven't been talked out of this boat.....there is a story behind it....kinda amazing actually.

Ernie- You are lucky in love, lucky in life: No doubt the Lord blesses each of your endeavors. If you feel in your heart that this is the boat for you, then proceed with all deliberate speed.

Certainly, it is a fine looking craft;Ultimately, how wrong could you really go on this?

Only thought I have: It might be a little tougher pitching baits, versus a true bass boat -where the platform is at toe level.

Not to worry Ernie, even I know Cubans pitch baseballs, not bait. Looks like the boat you said you wanted, all things considered if the price is right go get it.

That's the only thing that would prevent me from getting this boat if it were me. Is this for "bass fishing"? Any pics of the front deck?

I don't remember having any problems (because of the deck) casting (pitching) on Carl's boat (I think it was a V-hull too right?).

Very true.....don't do this much though.

Too funny......

bigjeffie wrote:

Way too funny....never considered myself a bass fisherman.

AndrewDo124 wrote:

Deck pictures are coming....I like a little "lip" so I don't wander to close to the water. Carl's is a modivied V....easy to fish from.

I will be sitting a lot....may get the leaning type seat vs the sit down seat. My knees take a pounding when I stand too long...hopefully, this will help.

This boat will be used for many reasons; white & yellow perch, Fletcher's, stripers and bass in the river, bass, snakeheads (this guy has a fairly shallow draft plus being aluminum, I don't mind getting shallow).....it can also carry up to 5 people, not that I would but it will fish with 3 very nicely.

Looks like you found a perfect boat for your needs. Let me know if you need help getting the WV sticker off or taking some of the shine off.

Looks like a great boat for the river! Get it. It needs some slime, it's way too shiny.
