I fished out back (I don't move much) with my 4 wt fly rod with a brown/rust woolly bugger. Target was largemouth bass.  On the 2nd cast, I caught a nice 14 inch fish that had a full belly. A few casts later, I had a hard hit and this fsh decided to run and jump! I thought I was on the Upper Potomac catching smallies. This bass, which was maybe 13", jumped me 3 times! That is a load of fun on a very light fly rod. I managed to catch another one that was a little shy of 12" So....three fish in maybe 12 minutes.

So I moved around and didn't catch another one for the next 20 minutes. I went in after my toes started to get cold.

Where is summer....please don't tell me it's gone!!
