Sick Fishing Video- Skipping a Baitcaster

This is a really sick video!  Skipping with a baitcaster is really tough and he does it easily.  Saw it on another forum...

Sick is right.....I want that music when I am bait casting!

He is very aggressive but that's what you have to do to do what he is doing. He must have a sensitive and quick thumb! A mistake = a big backlash!

Time to go fishin' again!

Re: Sick Fishing Video- Skipping a Baitcaster

Looks like early in the video he has a lot of line off the tip at the start of his cast. I'm wondering if that's the secret, otherwise when the lure hit the water on the first hop it would be slower than the line causing an overrun. I might try it once, but not with braid.

I compensate the slowing down when it hits the water by moving my hand back and up in a pendulum motion that way it strips out more line and doesnt backlash
