Often, when we go to South Florida, we stay on Singer island with our good friends, Mike and Rita, whom I have known since high school. On this trip, Mike brought his plane down (Cirrus Gen. 3) which seats 4.
On Saturday, we took off from North Palm County Airport and headed down to the Miami area (Opa-Locka) where we hung around South Beach. Weather started moving in so we decided to get out of Dodge but it was some nasty stuff so we diverted to an airport about 35 miles north of our destination. After dinner in Stuart FL, we were given a window to make the 12 minute flight back to North Palm County airport. This was only my 2nd flight in a little plane but it was cool......flying at 2-4 k feet.....my wife really enjoyed flying in this airplane.
I have a few cool pictures that I'll post later.

I have flown in a 4 seat Cessna between Gainesville and Cedar Key in Florida. Way better than commercial flying as you really feel part of the action.

No plane for me....I am already saddled with my boat's fuel bill. Fuel for the plane is close to $5/gal.
I was a bit apprehensive to go at 1st but once up in the air, it was great! Very smooth even with some bad weather around us.
The kayak's stay.....no fuel to purchase!

Cirrus makes a nice plane. I'm trying to get my private pilots license by when i turn 17 in about a year from now.
Will not be buying, but definitely renting Cirrus planes.
