Went to the farm this morning, and landed 7 total. 5 were on a brush hog, including a 1 pound bream. first cast i caught a 2 pounder! then i caught one that was under pounds on a zoom magnum finesse worm on the next cast! i was thrilled and knew that it was gonna be a good day. a few minutes before i had to leave i hooked up with what was though to be a catfish! because it only made 2 hard runs the rest of the time it was pulling reeeaall slow but took me over 1 min. to land! when i first saw it jump at the dock it was the biggest bass iv ever seen! my personal best is 5lbs on the dot but this on only weighed 4 pounds and 14 ounces! it was sooo close to a new personal best! but my aunt was up at the front of the farm with the camera so i took pics. but none with me in them. great day!! p.s. caught the big 1 on texas rigged zoom mag. finesse worm. along with one other one. then the other 5 were on a brush hog.

23 inches and only 4lb 14 oz?!?!?!
23 inches is a VA citation and typically would weigh between 6-7 lbs. New scale might be in order!!!

this thing was huge.. i caught a really big one the other day also and it said 4 pounds 3 ounces and 3 other people said it was over 5! this is a brand new berkley electric

Maybe the scale needs some breaking in. I always pull extra hard on it to loosen it up a bit. For example, if it is a 50lb scale, I try to at least pull it 25lbs.
