Guess 5 pounders with a pic don't even raise an eyebrow any more on this forum?  39 views and no replys?

Hmmm...maybe the classification post a couple of weeks back snuffed some of the exitement out of the group.

I like Jeffie's categorization and will use it from now on.

Here it is:

1# I am pleased
2# is pretty good
3# is getting much better
4# and over is really nice
5# and above is exceptional

That is an exeptional fish!!

Re: Cedar 5 pounder (6-12)

The reality is we weren't sure if it was a real post by the real Curly since he has been gone for so long. After some deep research by our expert panel, we validated that it was in fact you. Congrats on your catch! lol

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Re: Cedar 5 pounder (6-12)

i feel the fish is particularly exceptional given the body of water that it came from, which in my  experience is a tough place to fool a specimen of that caliber.

and while i am at it, the photo does little justice.
5# is a lot of bass, and an image hardly conveys the impression experience first hand.

why do cameras make my stomach bigger and my fish smaller?
