Met Thai at Gravely Point at 5:30 and we were topwater fishing by 5:45. Thai lost a nice smallie at the boat, and it was the only topwater bite. We set out the trolling spread and did well the first 3 hrs and then it slowed down. Final talley was 11 rockfish (up to 20"), 4 blue cats (up to 5 lbs), 2 largemouth (3 and 6+ lbs), and one 5.5 lb walleye beast.
Nice rockfish
Thai with a 6+ LMB beast.
Another nice rockfish
And the 24", 5.5 lb (weighed him at home before filleting) walleye
Wind was whipping at 20-25 by 10:30 and we got off the water.

What'd he spit up? Baitfish?
That is a very nice 'eye! I know a certain river rat that would love to get one mounted

Nice day on the water! Walleye, huge bass and a good number of convicts. Gotta love multi-specie days on the Potomac!

Very nice. all the way down there too. A good friend of mine has caught them from down river as far as Piscataway Creek! I've seen them in blue plains in the mid summer too, some nice ones. Caught them well above chain bridge, below great falls, Dickerson Power plant and Dam 4 area.
