Success at Beaverdam 4/29

Finally got my first Beaverdam fish of the year. I headed to the southern end for the first time ever.  I was throwing my black spinnerbait for about the first 1.5 hours.  Surely there had to be fish in this location.  Since I had gotten a good feeling for what was underwater I decided I could start using something a little more prone to snagging.  I chose a green/silver Little Cleo spoon.  At 5:45 I hooked up with a decent one. It jumped twice while some guy bank fishing on the other side must've been looking on.  I had it up against the yak and just I was about to put my thumb in its mouth, it fell off.  So no pic. sad  It was at least a 2lber. Seemed kind of pale compared to the others I've caught elsewhere this year.  I worked that area a little more with no luck.  I then tried the other bank and hooked up with this monster. LOL What was it thinking!
