I had to pick up an aquarium at my sister's today so I figured I might well do some fishing while I was over there.  I started fishing about 11:45, the middle of the major. I spotted several bass along the shore, some were at least 3lbs.  They wouldn't touch anything I tossed their way.  Snagged this while trying to get a bass to bite it.



I found some tent caterpillars in a tree and used those to catch a bunch of bluegills and greens.  Eventually I worked my way over to the shore by Logan's and tried the spot where I fished the pond for the first time.  There were some lily pads growing now and I figured that would be a good ambush point.  One retrieve past it I thought I was feeling some sticks or something I felt the last time I was there.  I brought it past there again and finally hooked up with a bass. 2:40pm  13" and about 1lb.




A few more casts and I decided to move to the next spot that had some structure.  First cast and I got this one at 2:50.  Again 13" and 1lb.



I moved again and spotted a bunch of the koi swimming together.  Tried snagging them and did managed to get a scale the size of a nickel.



Worked one last spot on the way back to my truck.  A few casts and I finally got it where I wanted it and got hit by this at 3:22.  It was hooked as solid as could be, smack dab in the middle of the roof of its mouth.




It was an ugly one, all sorts of marks on it.  This one was 13" but 1.5lbs.  I tossed the spinnerbait in the same spot again and hooked up with another one, probably a 1lb-er but it got off just before landing it.
