Alder & Beech Report - 030410

I got out today and tried out my new gear recently ordered online. I tossed a 1/2 oz Sexy Shad/Sunfish colored Red Eye Shad and landed my first bass of the year.

Got this little dude to "break the ice" for 2010 from Beech.

Got these two, slightly better fish out of Alder.

I then proceeded to break off my awesome lure in a submerged christmas tree. At that point I tied on a spinnerbait with no success. Remembering that I noticed at Dick's Sporting Goods that they carried Red Eye Shad baits, I drove over there and picked up two replacements. Nice!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

nice patrick. I've recently learned that when it comes to lipless cranks, having one of a certain color is never enough.

Not caught during the lunar period. Caught afterwards.

If we get enough lures hung up on that tree, we should pull it up this year for xmas. I've always wanted a christmas tree with fishing ornaments
