Cedar Report - 061309

I hit Cedar for an early evening bite. I ran into a few anglers out there all of whom were catching fish. I fished primarily with a jig landing a couple of bass off of the deep rock pile. One had some pretty cool black marks on it.

The jig was the most productive until about 7pm and then I hit the algae mats with a Spro Bronzeye Jr. Frog. I started killing 'em. While the biggest was probably 1.5lbs, all of the fish that came on the frog were over 1lb. That was the better bait yesterday.

I probably ended up with 20 or so bass fishing for about 2.5 hours.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
