Hey gang, looking for a little info if there is any out there. I'm an Ashburn Farm resident, and stopped fishing the Villiage lakes earlier in the year when I found out it was a no no without guest (really wasn't aware of it, only been out here a couple years and just started fishing). I wouldn't have known at all unless I came to this site.
That said, the Farm has some water, but none of it has produced much of anything for me. I'm a walk around the lake bass fishing kind of guy, so villiage is great, Farm so far stinks. My question, anyone ever fish Breezy Hill or Chokeberry ponds in the Farm? THey are over by Hay Road. I haven't touched them yet and don't want to waste any time.
On another note, you guys are catching some pigs this year!! SO......at least I get to read about it! Heading back to Illinois in August and I at least can get my fix hitting some strip mine pits I grew up fishing if there's nothing to be had at the Farm..
