Northern VA CCA event, June 10 - Capt. Sonney Forrest to speak

The Northern VA CCA Chapter is pleased to welcome Captain Sonney Forrest from Solomons Island Maryland to our June 10th meeting at Grace Presbyterian Church, 2381 Cedar Lane, Vienna VA. The meeting begins at 7:00 and is  open to the public - there is no admission charge.

Capt. Sonney has 33 years experience guiding, lecturing, writing and teaching how to fish. His entertaining spirit is matched with those 33 years of watching others catch big fish. He will teach you to be a better angler while having fun learning.  He has been featured in several magazines, writes articles on fishing and is a guest speaker at Sports Shows and Fishing Clubs. He is very competitive, winning many in-shore tournaments, and a very  knowledgeable and respected Captain throughout the Chesapeake Bay.

Directions: From Gallows Road in Vienna, turn west onto Cedar Lane, go .3 miles, the church will be on your left. Park in the rear, enter the rear door.

Re: Northern VA CCA event, June 10 - Capt. Sonney Forrest to speak

Just wanted to bring this up in case anyone was interested. The event is free to the public.

As well, if you fish in VA waters, I strongly recommend membership in the CCA. For $25 a year, you will get subscription to their monthly magazine, Tide. Lots of good fishing and fishing location articles.

This group is heavily involved in making sure Conservation is at the top of the list of the political agendas at the state and national levels. Send me an email if you are interested in joining.
