My brother and I launched the boat at solomons(heaven) at about 5:45. We reached our destination, Mo's Cove, because I seemed to do the best there, at 6am. I showed my brother how to fish for WHITE PERCH and once he got the hang of it, I started fishing. My first fish was about 7" white perch. Than about 6:30 is when it happened. I sw my light reel bend over like I have caught a big croaker or a rock fish. I fought until I can see it. I didn't know what it was until I actually brought it on the boat. There it was my goal for this year, a WHITE PERCH 13", 13.3' to be exact. Of course the frst person I called was Gene Mueller, just kidding, it was Carl. After he called me back because he was walking his dog, I was talking a mile a minute from the excitement. I didn't have my camera, but when I got home I took pictures. I will post thse later. total numbers were 25 white perch.
I love white perch

It's almost 90 miles from Ashburn....great place to fish. I go out of there and head left into the bay!
