Competitions For Fun
Patrick had this idea and it was a great one!
There are three competitions:
1. Biggest Fish by weight (picture required of fish and scale with fish on it.)
2. Most fish
3. Most fish in a single day
Rules:
-You may catch fish from April 18th - June 6th.
-All fish caught on fishing club outings count.
-You may fish on your own and all fish will count to the competition, but they must be caught on the Ashburn Lakes, Beaverdam Reservoir, the Potomac River, and all the creeks extending from the Potomac.
-You must post your fish caught that day on the forum under this thread and I will post the tallies regularly. I will not transfer from the Ashburn Village section, because I do not want to miss someone's or double count someone elses.
-Any type of fish counts towards the competition.
-biggest fish must be a largemouth or smallmouth bass
Adults on the forum- if you would like to compete also, please do, and I will keep track of your tallies, but separate from the clubs (on same thread).

I have a feeling that after next Saturday with Capt. Jeff the carp question won't come into play. Sounds like a fun idea, good luck to all of you.

5 days until the competition...continue to circulate the contests out to everybody. With the spawn forthcoming, some good fish may be waiting for you all!
If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Matt- let me know when you want to catch a mess of blue gills....I'll spot up a location for you. That's what I did last summer when I caught 45 in a couple of hours to transfer over to Tippicanoe!

11 today so im at 12
I usualy set up by that tree on the shallow bank of beach where the path goes down really fast and it produced good numbers last year but would love to find a new place on one of these lakes. I think that area is better in the summer when it is warmer though

did u add from mini tournament already cuz not counting that i caught 15 more =] (i was really bored Saturday)
and one 7lb bass i have a pic of on my phone but i didn't have a scale

That pic can be sent from your phone to your email address and then uploaded to this site.
Do it!!!!!!!!!!! It won't count but I really want to see it!
