Crappie tournament
We should have a ABC Crappie tournament one day. Probably better to do it in the winter so that people would really have to work to catch these fish. Having the tournament in the spring wouldn't be ideal because there is no work to catch them.
This will also help in thinning the population. What do you guys think?

Charlie,
Do you think some of your Broad Run friends would be interested in the tournament? I taught your buddy Garrett how to catch Crappie on a muddler minnow fly last spring. He saw my daughter bringing them up on every cast and wanted to learn.
I think it would be great after we put some structure in Beech and Alder...
