Tuna trip off VB
Took a charter out of VA Beach in hopes of landing my first tuna. The boat ride out to the tuna grounds was looong but fairly smooth and we got a very early start.
The first tuna that I was up for was feeling like a good one then made a huge run and got light all of a sudden. Reeled it up and there was only a head left 
A shark had gotten him.
In all we caught 5 tuna and 5 mahi on top of that! Awesome trip and the 43lb'er I reeled in will be something I will never forget! We were following whales most of the day which was really cool and a pretty calm day out in the middle of the ocean.
